JP Move-A-Thon 2015 Tuesday, May 19th!

On Tuesday, May 19th, JP’s second-through-fifth graders will jump, leap, slide and generally move about after lunch to raise funds for our Koko Fund.

The Koko Fund enables many of JP’s children whose families face financial challenges to go to summer camp and participate in after-school enrichment activities. Over the last year, 65 JP students have participated in over 100 after- school classes at JP and summer activities- including dance, swimming, art, music, sports, after-school JP programs and summer camp.  Our community partners include The Arts Council, The Princeton Recreation Department, Westminster Conservatory and the Princeton YWCA.

With over 100 eligible students, our goal is to reach even more kids this year.

But the Koko fund can’t do it without your help! What can you do in support? Please fill out the MAT sponsor sheet that is coming home in backpacks to not only support your “mover” but to help us reach our fundraising goal. We can’t do it without you! No amount is too small.

If you have any questions, please call Dr. Ginsberg at 806-4240. Let’s move to make 2015 the Koko Fund’s best year yet! MOVE IN!

The Koko Fund—small fund, big impact.

No Pancake Breakfast this weekend

Dear Parent:

We’re writing to let you know that we’ve cancelled our pancake breakfast (originally scheduled for this Sat. morning, Mar. 14th) because of a number of simultaneous challenges that we’ve faced, particularly lost school days and re-organized PARCC-test scheduling, that have precluded us from doing adequate event planning. In addition, our fourth and fifth graders, who’ve typically performed in our talent show during the breakfast, haven’t had time to rehearse.

We hope to reschedule at least our talent show for sometime this spring.

Thanks for your understanding.
