Mara Franceschi has beenmara-franceschi_headshot-2 in the JP family since moving to Princeton in 2010 with her husband Gaetano, and children Max 6th (JWMS), Nico 4rd, and Bella (1st.) Initially serving as Treasurer of the PTO for 3 ½ years and now in her third year as Co-President, Mara has loved being involved with the school.  Mara graduated with her BA from UNC-Chapel Hill in Economics and German a long time ago and an MBA from Columbia University’s School of Business.  She also has her CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.

Melissa and her family moved from California to Princeton in 2008.  While she misses the beautiful California weather, she is thrilled to be part of the Princeton community.  Melissa and her husband, Thomas, have four daughters in the Princeton Public Schools–two at Princeton High School, one at John Witherspoon Middle School and a 5th grader at Johnson Park.  Melissa has served in several PTO VP positions and is enjoying a more laid back role as PTO Secretary this year.

We moved to Princeton in November 2015, and has 3 kids and a dog. Our twins Harrison and Tyler are in 5th grade at St. Paul School, and our daughter Jessica is in Mrs. Finn’s second grade class. In a past life I was a technology auditor with Ernst & Young, then at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America. My husband Rob and I are from NYC, but left the city 10 years ago when the boys were born for greener pastures. In case IMG_4518anyone is wondering, my last name is pronounced “EE” like the letter, my father in law made it up when he emigrated to the US from Korea. 🙂 I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help out at JP. JP PTO does wonderful work for the school, and I am looking forward to helping as much as I can to continue it.

Amy and her husband Jonah have lived in Princeton for 13 years and both grew up in nearby West Windsor.  They have three children at Johnson Park.  Colin is in fouth grade and their twin boys, Alec and Ian, are in second grade. This is Amy’s third year on the Koko Fund Advisory Board and her first year as Chair.

Maria and her husband Matt moved their family to Princeton in September 2015. They have two boys; Palmer, a seventh grader at JWMS and Nolan, fullsizerenderwho is a second grader at Johnson Park. This is Maria’s first year on the PTO Board, but she also happily chairs the Gorilla Gallop 5K Run / Walk that happens in the Spring at JP!

With two sons, both at Johnson Park, Lisa and her husband, Bret, are really enjoying the community of Princeton.  They have lived in the area for the past 11 years…and moved into Princeton itself five years ago.  Having taken on the role of VP of Programs for Children last school year, Lisa is looking forward to a 2nd year.  She is full of ideas to offer great programs and opportunities for all Johnson Park children.  She hopeslisajacknow, through this role, she can continue to expand our club program, and is excited about some of the new After School Clubs for this year.  A former TV reporter and producer, Lisa looks forward to helping out with JP-TV as well, hoping to share her experiences and knowledge with our budding broadcasters.  You can often find her on a tennis court, enjoying time with friends or helping out somewhere else around town.

Kirsten and her husband Jonathan moved to Princeton about 11 years ago and are happy to call this great community home. Their two daughters are at Johnson Park, Azlyn (5th grade) and Lilah (3rd grade) while their youngest son, Griffin attends preschool at Crossroads Nursery School. This is Kirsten’s third year serving on the JP PTO BoardKirsten. She loves spending time at JP and getting to know all of the kids through the various programs and. She encourages all parents to get involved, in any way they can, because each moment impacts the daily experience of the children and helps to build a stronger community in which these kids can grow and learn and thrive. Kirsten is always seeking ways to boost school spirit and welcomes any new ideas- so please reach out!

Mara has served as Johnson Park’s VP of Residencies since 2011.  She loves seeing the students’ excitement as they create, perform, andmarabio discover in these fantastic enrichment programs.  Mara has lived in Princeton for over twenty years.  One of her sons attends Johnson Park, and the other attends Princeton High School.  Her degree from Harvard Law School and years of experience as a corporate attorney have proven to be extremely useful in complex negotiations with her kids.

Nikki and her husband Mike moved to Princeton, from NYC, almost 6 years ago.  They have 4 children in the Princeton school system.  Jordyn is a 7th grader (JWMS), Joelle is a 4th grader and Gabriel is in 2nd.  Their younikkingest child is William who will join Johnson Park soon! This is Nikki’s third year on the PTO Board.  She loves being the VP of school services.
